Laparoscopies
These are exams carried out through a little incision in the abdominal zone or the ovaries, among others.
It is done inside the abdominal zone with a laparoscope, which is a surgical instrument similar to an endoscope that examines the peritoneal cavity when it is inserted.
The majority of patients describe this procedure as fast and safe since they are allowed to return home right after it. Many of them feel they can perform their regular daily activities sooner than expected.
This is a minor surgery that is not as invasive as others, and there is just a minimum of pain in it. |
