Stress Test
The Stress Test is used to diagnose certain heart pathologies when this organ works under pressure to pump blood to other parts of the body.
It consists of registering the heart activity when the patient exercises intensively.
It is mainly used to detect and evaluate cardiopathy, but it can also be used for other purposes like measuring physical capacity, studying some types of arrhythmia, or diagnosing other heart diseases.
For this test, the patient is required to exercise on a treadmill.
